このようなテロは言語道断の許すべからざる行為だ。

まず何よりも、被害にあった方々、およびアメリカ国民に心からのお見舞いを申し上げたい。

経済面でも輸送の停止など一時的にせよ直接間接の影響はあるだろうが、私ども企業も適切な情報把握を行い、過剰反応は慎むべきだ。

日本の政府には、自国の治安確保や事件からの復活に向けた国際協力を行うことはもちろんだが、株価下落と景気悪化の悪循環が懸念されるなか、経済活性化のための対策の方も着実かつスピーディな実行をお願いしたい。

Dear colleagues in the U.S.:

I would like to express my shock and sadness at the terrible events that have taken place in the United States. I sympathize with all Americans at this time of national tragedy and express my concern for the innocent people who have lost their lives.

It is difficult for me to imagine such shocking events as I just returned from a visit to Washington, D.C and California where I met with many people, including business colleagues and national public officials. All are dedicated individuals working to improve the lives of those not only American citizens but also all citizens in the world. My thoughts and deepest condolences go out to all Americans.
