Tokyo, December 7, 1999 - Fujitsu Limited today announced new 700MHz dual processor servers in its teamserver range of business servers. This once again maintains Fujitsu in its position as a quality supplier at the forefront of performance. Based on Intel(R) Pentium(R)III processors the new models C880ix and G880ix can provide up to a 15% processor performance boost for organizations requiring reliable workgroup and groupware servers, departmental application servers or web servers. Fujitsu teamserver C800i series matches the requirements of workgroups for mail, LAN server, back-office, Internet gateway and workgroup applications. The G800i series, with its larger capacity, higher RAS functions including greater redundancy and availability features meets the needs of departmental applications and web servers.

The new models come with the following base specifications and a package of standard server management and installation tools which make setup, ongoing management and failure prevention simple and easy to manage. They can also be expanded using either floor standing or rackmount highly redundant storage bays to over 1TB of data storage.
