Fujitsu's InfoWeb Internet Service Surpasses
400,000 Subscribers

Tokyo, May 20, 1998 - Fujitsu's Internet service, InfoWeb, has recently reached a total of over 400,000 users in Japan. Behind the rapid growth in subscribers are the convenience of its nationwide Access Points, high-speed access, reliable backbone lines and the many services InfoWeb offers to users.

For example, in November 1995 InfoWeb began offering "My Sweet Homepage," a service that allows subscribers to easily set up their own Web sites- free of charge. Currently, 16,300 customers have taken advantage of this service - 2.6 times more people than last year.

Now, in June 1998, in cooperation with WebTV Networks KK, InfoWeb subscribers will have an additional choice for Internet access. InfoWeb subscribers who prefer the easy-to-use WebTV service will now be able to apply for a WebTV subscription easily and at a lower cost by using their current InfoWeb identification code. WebTV services offer the same e-mail and browser capabilities as Internet access from a PC.
