Tokyo, Feb. 5, 1998 --Fujitsu Limited today began marketing a new
line of its best-selling FMV-DESKPOWER Series of personal computers
for the Japanese market. The company has introduced 10 new models in 26
configurations, including a space-saving computer(microtower model) and
a mid-range tower model.The new 8 of 10 models employ powerful Pentium II
microprocessors to offer major improvements in price/performance.
The competitively priced new models equipped with Pentium II 233MHz processors (SV235/237), for example, boast a 45% increase in CPU performance over previous generation models. The new lineup comes bundled with advanced multimedia software, including ultra-realistic, high-end image processing for Internet and digital camera use, as well as the latest useful software for simulating future lifestyle plans. Moreover, to improve ease-of-use and customer enjoyment, Fujitsu is including improved operating manuals as well as a separate manual for digital camera use.
