World's First Free Style Voice Verification Software From Fujitsu & ANIMO

voicesync Tokyo, April 14, 1998 -- Fujitsu Limited and ANIMO LIMITED (President: Ichiro Hattori, Office in Yokohama, Japan) launched a new breakthrough technology for voice recognition. Called "VoiceSync," the new product is the world's first true voice verification software that can verifies voices without any pre-registering of defined words or phrases.

VoiceSync has a wide range of applications; can be used in any language environment and is adaptable to any language. VoiceSync was jointly developed by ANIMO, the first venture company formed by Fujitsu, and Israel-based R&D laboratory of Comverse Technology Inc., the major voice-mail provider in the U.S.

Starting June 1, 1998, VoiceSync will be sold to corporate customers worldwide by Fujitsu and ANIMO.
